A warm welcome at a webinar to kick off the network

Following the launch of UK Women in Fisheries, we extended a warm invitation to all our new members to kick off the network and get to know each other. Hannah Fennell, Head of Orkneys Fisheries Association, was the Chair, Tina Barnes, Head of Impact at The Seafarers’ Charity,  talked about the need for a women's network in the fisheries sector, and our Founder member, Madeleine Gustavsson, PhD, explained the background to the research project, how it developed, and how UK Women in Fisheries was the result.
